Project eMerge went live with Phase 1 on August 27th, 2012. The system is running smoothly with users continuing to improve in their use of the new system. Â
Project eMerge's Phase 2 began in 2013, with Group 1 Departments going live in PeopleSoft Time Entry in November 2013. Phase 2 continues into early 2014 with the remaining City departments leaving the old TESS time entry system and entering employees' time into eMerge PeopleSoft.
What is eMerge PeopleSoft?
Project eMerge will provide improved Human Resources, Benefits Administration and Payroll services to the active, retired, and future workforce of the City and County of San Francisco (CCSF) through the implementation of Oracle's PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.0 system. We are calling this system eMerge PeopleSoft.Â
