What we do

The City Performance Unit recognizes that information and technologies that manage it are critical and strategic assets to every organization in the 21st Century. Working in close partnership with participating City departments, we analyze core business processes, assess data that inform services design and delivery, and assist in deploying solutions with citywide benefits. We target and fund projects that can improve the quality and efficiency of City services, programs, and facilities, both in near term and over time.

Our team is knowledgeable in the best practices of information technology (IT) project management, enterprise architecture, services management, business analysis, performance measurement, business intelligence, data analytics, and contract management. Outside specialists are retained as needed. We can add value immediately as business analysts working in cross-departmental projects, as well as performing as-is assessment, process mapping, requirement analysis, feasibility studies, and software deployment and training.
