As required by the San Francisco Administrative Code, Section 2.10, the Office of the Controller (Controller) reports to the Board of Supervisors on the status of the implementation of the San Francisco Civil Grand Jury’s recommendations.
As requested by the fiscal year 2005-06 San Francisco Civil Grand Jury, the Controller posts a tracking document online and updates it as new information becomes available. The 2015-16 Civil Grand Jury asked the Controller to limit its status follow-up to recommendations the Civil Grand Jury made during its most recent three terms. Linked to below are reports on the status of responses to the Civil Grand Jury’s recommendations made in fiscal years 2019-20 through 2021-22, by year. The reports show whether each recommendation:
(a) Is fully implemented.
(b) Is still being implemented.
(c) Requires further study.
(d) Has been abandoned because it is no longer relevant or feasible.
The Controller compiled the responses by copying them verbatim from documents departments submitted. The responses were not edited to correct any typographical or grammatical errors.
